The playground at Larsen Park received an upgrade to ensure visitor safety and easy maintenance. The Wellington City Council collaborated with NumatREC to install a new Pour’n’Play surface which incorporates recycled rubber from waste tyres. This surface is not only durable and low-maintenance, but also able to withstand heavy use and various weather conditions. Additionally, the green and black color blend of the surface complements the natural environment and keeps the playground looking open and inviting.

NumatREC’s Pour’n’Play surface was used to create a custom safety surface featuring the Clip’n’Climb logo. The design ability of Pour’n’Play, allowed the team at Clip’n’Climb to be creative and personalise their surface to be unique to their facility.

Jim Belich Playground is full of fun play elements that draw in families from the community. With a focus on accessibility, the playground features even surfacing that allows easy movement around the space and provides flow between play elements.

PermaTurf surfacing was used to compliment the natural surroundings of the park with a combination of Pour’n’Play in high-traffic areas. NumatREC assisted with the surfacing design to ensure hard-wearing areas were adequately surfaced for longevity.
