Overview

Looking for a high quality wood-chip surface to complete your playground surface? TopChip is an engineered wood chip made from untreated recycled timber, designed for use as a playground safety surface. It can be an amazing way to bring a natural element into your space and with a fall safety rating of up to 3 metres, TopChip meets the latest New Zealand Safety Standards (NZS 5828:2015).

We recommend an annual top up to maintain Critical Fall Height, and a full replacement every 3 years to keep things looking fresh.

Air drying the wood chips ensures that dust is kept at bay, preventing the irritating particles from affecting those using the playground.

Meets safety standards:

TopChip has a fall safety rating of up to 3 metres and meets the latest New Zealand Safety Standards. We recommend you top up the surface frequently to maintain the critical fall height.
