Kumeu Montessori Preschool

When the decision was made to move the much-loved Kumeu Montessori from a renovated bungalow to brand new premises, owner Rody O’Reilly knew one thing for sure – the new property had to have the ‘wow’ factor.

Choosing Numat to supply and install the centre’s new outdoor playground not only gave Rody the look he was hoping for, but it also gave him more time to oversee the rest of the build (and deal with the council).

Now located in a brand new building on Greville Street, Kumeu Montessori Preschool will cater to 50 bundles of energy when it opens its doors later this year. Designed for children aged between 2 and 5 years, Rody’s focus was on creating an outdoor space that reflected a key Montessori value – providing a secure and happy environment.

Looking for a durable yet natural-looking product he chose PermaPlay for the happy little feet. Numat also provided and installed the playground’s hard surfaces, landscaping and sandpit.
