Hayman Park was designed to be South Auckland’s first destination park playground. The redevelopment was focused on bringing people of all ages to the surrounding Manukau CBD.
Numat were brought in to do the surfacing for this project which included bright orange and red safety surfacing that zig zags throughout the play space. The playground also features a central Pour’n’Play mound with slide, and colourful steppers with feature lettering and number details.
This playground has become a bright accommodating place for both the local community and wider Auckland region, with the surrounding park also containing a half basketball court, a plaza, toilets and BMX bike track.
