Colwill School had a clear goal: upgrade two of their playground areas to be more inclusive and easier to maintain. They needed safety surfacing that would not only protect the kids but also blend seamlessly with their existing playground equipment.

Enter NumatREC. We partnered with Colwill School to bring this vision to life. Our team designed and installed innovative safety surfacing that aligns perfectly with their playground setup. The new surface is not just about safety—it’s about creating an inviting space where all students can play together, regardless of their abilities.

By focusing on an intrinsic design, we ensured the surfacing complements the playground’s aesthetics while providing a cushioned layer to minimize injuries from falls. This upgrade makes the playground more accessible, allowing kids who use mobility aids to join in the fun without barriers.

Maintenance hassles? Not anymore. The durable materials we used mean the school spends less time on upkeep and more time enjoying the vibrant playground. It’s a win-win for everyone.

At NumatREC, we’re all about exploring new ways to make play spaces better for communities. Working with Colwill School, we turned their playgrounds into inclusive, safe, and fun environments where every child can let their imagination run wild.
